Similar to coaching, 1:1 creates alignment between your intentions and your results, and helps you explore ways to close gaps in productivity, performance, and working relationships. With concentrated time and guided effort, you will:

  • Identify gaps between your intention and your actual impact in commitments you make to yourself and others
  • Learn to sustain a high level of performance despite resistance

This four-step learning process will help you translate your vision and purpose into action and outcomes:

Define your purpose
The learning process begins with an exploration of how you intend to show up as a leader, and setting clear expectations and goals for learning and growth.

  • Renew your vision for your life
  • Explore your values, goals, and strengths
  • Set priorities for change and learning

Assess your Impact
Feedback from interviews and surveys leads to a clear picture of what people experience in working with you.  Tools may include:

  • Personality inventories (MBTI, Hogan, Element B, others)
  • 360 degree leadership feedback
  • Custom tools developed for your situation and needs

Change your approach
Once you gain insight about the impact you have on the people around you, you can choose what to change and how to go about it, and then assess how well it’s working.

  • Define the capabilities you need, the ones you have, and the gap
  • Identify what’s in your way and how to surmount it
  • Confirm and learn to sustain your commitment

Follow through
Follow-up feedback helps you identify successes and areas for further improvement.

  • Identify accountability partners
  • Design a communication plan
